CAN Driver on TDA4

In <Processor SDK Linux Automotive 07_00_01>, I can not find the content of CAN Driver in Kernel Drivers like <Processor SDK Linux 06_03_00_106>. I want to know whether CAN Driver can not be directly supported in <Processor SDK Linux Automotive 07_00_01> and why. Besides we need to access CAN device with Core-A72 on TDA4 in application level, and is there any convenient solution?

Hi,

CAN driver on Linux is not supported out of the box till SDK7.0.

Although there is a patch set at https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/t/922168 which you can use.

Official support for this will come in upcoming releases.

Hi,

I've seen can0 and can1 in terminal by ifconfig -a with the method you supplied and also able to set can0/can1 up. Thanks!

But i meets other problem: when i execute "cansend can0 113##2AAAAAAAA", then "m_can_platform 2701000.mcan can0: bus-off" returned.
