TDA4VM: TDA4 ipc communication

Hi All,

I have some questions about MCU_SPI & IPC communication on the custom board.

SPI IPC
External device <-----> MCU1_0 <------> Linux(A72)
SDK 06_02

We need to get the external device's data from MCU1_0 and communicate by using Linux.
I tried to merge MCSPI_slavemode app and ipc_echo_test app, but there have some problems with modified makefile.

Or have other way to implement it?

Hi Leo Ho,

Are you using MCAL drivers on MCU1_0? or the PDK drivers in TI-RTOS?

1. If you are using MCAL SW on MCU1_0, SDK6.2 didnt have support for MCU10<->Linux IPC with MCAL SW.

The support is coming in SDK7.1, 20th November 2020.

2. If you are using the PDK drivers with TIRTOS, then you should be able to establish IPC between MCU10 <-> A72/Linux.

Hi Sunita,

Sorry for not clear description, on our custom board, we using PDK on MCU1_0 with SPI for communicate with external devices;
we want to get the spi data from MCU1_0 by using Linux.
Is there any way to implement it?
