Hello,

I am using SDK v4.0.0.4 and using /etc/systemd/network/10-eth.network config file, I am able to use Static IP address but not DHCP.

For DHCP, I am setting the following in the file, but no luck.

[Match]
Name=eth*
KernelCommandLine=!root=/dev/nfs

[Network]
DHCP=yes

Hi, Mitesh,

You want the OMAP-L138 get served by DHCP server with IP address? By default, it is set up using dhcp address. Try to reset your u-boot env variables and see if it works for you.

"env default -f -a"

HI Rex, this seems to work now. thanks.

However, is there any fall-back mechanism you know of, that I can apply, such that, if the system fails to get IP address from DHCP server then it would fall to some static IP address?

Not sure. I don't know the answer on top of my head. You may want to search on internet to see if there is a way to do it.
