CCS/AM5749: M4 RTOS Sample Project CCS Troubleshooting

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Customer using CCS10 having trouble running sample RTOS project on M4.  Running A15 version runs fine.

loading the sample app rtos_template_app_arm572x_m4 imported from sdk. It keeps getting connection errors shown as below when “Connect Terget” to  M4.  Any solution for this?

 

This is working well when loading the sample code app rtos_template_app_arm572x_A15 into the AM574 IDK board.

    Hi,

    For M4 project, you still need to connect A15 first before connect M4 even though no code is loaded to A15.

    When connecting A15, the system initialization GEL scripts will be executed which will enable M4.

    Only then, M4 can be connected.
