The 66AK2L06 looks like a very interesting processor to interface to JESD204b ADC and DAC without the need for an FPGA. But I notice the page for it says:

This product does not have ongoing direct design support from TI. For support while working through your design, you may contact one of the following third parties: Azcom Technology, CommAgility.
What does that mean? Is it considered a failed product with no support, such as updates to tools and drivers, from TI?
