TMS320C6713 Power On Self Test

On my TMS320C6713 DSP Starter kit, the POST test completes, but all the LEDS do not remain on. They blink every two seconds. The diagnotics test passes. Is this board still usable or does it need to be repaired?

Hi Ken,

After POST test completes, all LEDs blink on and off then stay on. This shows DSK is functional. Does LEDs stay on after blinking on and off?

Ankit,

The LED's do not stay on. The continually go thru blinking on then off. The DSK diagnostics passes though. Will this board still work or does it need to be repaired?

The LED's do stay on when testing the other 8 boards that I have.

I am not sure but it seems that the board has a problem.

For this, I would suggest you to contact Spectrum Digital for diagnosis.

HI,

Try to program the on-board four LED using Different LED API to toggle,on and off.If it is working, then no need to worry about POST result.
