We are using TI’s TMS320C6748 DSP processor (P/N: SMOMAPL138BGWTA3R).

Request you to please suggest the stable version for "TMS320C6000 Optimizing C/C++ Compiler"

PS: Is v8.3.5 is stable version.

Chandrashekar,

We package the DSP toolchain as part of the PRocessor SDK RTOS software for the device: The version of the compiler packages in the SDK is CGT 8.3.2. I would recommend that you use the same especially if you plan to use TI software driver and RTOs.

Generally updating minor revisions of CGT is considered low risk however using the CGT version from SDK provides additional confidence since the SDK is system tested with that version of the compiler prior to the software release.
