Could you pl provide a list of the files you have read into the Orcad tool? That will help identify which files are missing.

Also, have you tried using an earlier version of the tool i.e. 16.6 or something from that timeframe?

Hi,

I went to https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDXEVM3358 and it has a listing of support files.  I downloaded SPRR169 and SPRR164 and opened the files.  I can open the layout and the schematic.  The schematic parts list a file that has the footprints and pads in it.  That is usually in the design directory or on the computer with the design.  They are usually called "footprint' and "pad".

There may be a way to pull this data from the files available, but I do not know how.  I do not have an older version of the software.

Can you help clarify the question above? Is there a way to obtain the footprint/pad information from the DSN or other schematic/layout files? I see the DSN as part of the schematic tarball but not sure how to obtain the relevant information from that.
