TDA4VM: ethernet port number

How many thernet port are supported on TDA4VM in all?

There is a rgmii on MCU domain, 8-port switch and 2 PRUs on Main. If we configure PRU to use MII or RGMII ports, and configure 8-port switch to use SGMII ports. So we can get up to 13 ethernet port. Am I right?

Hi,

Regarding the max. ports, you are right. Total of 13 ports can be supported when PRUs uses RGMII/MII and CPSW uses SGMII so they use conflicting PADs.

There can be possible combination where some of ports can be RGMII from CPSW. I have not checked such possibility as you SGMII option is available for you.
