Hi,

We want to use TMS320C6713 for a servo control application. 

We request for the design files such as schematic and layout of the kits as they will be useful to club the control portion and the kit sections to develop the system faster.

Further, whether the design files or schematic of the on board emulator is available or not as the Client requests to reproduce the same.

This application has a sound business prospect.

    We know that schematic in pf format is present but what we are requesting here are the CAD files basically of the

    I suggest that you consider using the TMS320C6748 instead.  It is newer, faster, cheaper, and we provide the full design files for the associated Low Cost Development Kit: https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSLCDK6748

    Per the note in the c6713 product folder, we have limited support for this device.

    Hi Brad,

    By any chance can we get the CAD files as the customer has invested a lot of time on the device and is bent on this device.

    CAD files will save a lot of time.

    I’m sorry but I don’t know if TI even has those files. The board was built (maybe even designed?) by another company, Spectrum Digital. You might try contacting them.

    Dear Bard,

    I went to spectrum digital as per your guidelines.

    This is the reply I received from them. If possible can you please look if we can get the original PCB Layout files as well as the Circuit Design Files. Without them we will lag in time majorly for redesigning that board with small changes. Please help us in this. Reply is as follows :-

    We had contacted Texas Instruments in this regards but they informed us to get in touch with you regarding the design files of TMS320C6713 DSK.

    We request you to please provide us with details such as .dsn files as well as layout files of the given board along
    with the emaulator details as some of our clients want to develop similar system with modifications such as removal of CPLD as well as Flash and some other unwanted components so that It can be a part of a satellite communication board.

    We request for your urgent revert in this regards.

    Hello,

    Sorry, I wish I could be of more assistance.  For the last 10+ years it has been standard practice for TI to make the design files available for any of our evaluation boards.  This particular board is almost 20 years old and unfortunately that was not a standard practice at the time.
