C5515 configuration for lowest power consumption

hi,

I am using C5515 DSP for a battery critical information in which I need to limit the current to below 5mA @ 3.3V . I want to know about the configuration settings in idle mode . I have tried configuring idle mode but there was no drop in the current. . Can u pl guide me on configuring the chip for idle mode. How much current will be drained in idle mode?

Thanks for the reply. I have configured ICR register for disabling the MPORT, XPORT and the other CPU domains alongwith the CPU idle . After that I am executing the IDLE instruction. The ISTR is not showing CPU idle enabled. Is this something to do with the WAKE UP PIN status. I have pulled down the WAKE up pin. Pl suggest.
