Does AM3517 support 4-bit ECC ??

I want use a Micron's 3.3V NAND Flash with AM3517, Micron let me check does AM3517 support 4-bit ECC. Please check and reply.

AM3517 support 4-bit and 8-bit ECC.

OMAP35xx supports 8-bit ECC, but does not support 4-bit.

AM37xx supports 4-bit and 8-bit ECC.

Hello,

yes, you can use the Micron 4b ECC NANDs with the AM3517. You will need to use the 4b ECC software correction which is available in the current SDK which is available on the AM3517 product folder page of ti.com. Our latest version of the flash tool (v1.4) supports this which is also available on the product folder.
