TDA4VM: Document for the new feature PTP/TimeSync in CPSW9G with SDK V7.1

Hi experts,

I have noticed that the CPSW9G already have the new feature for PTP/TimeSync in new release of V7.1. Is there any ducument for us to test this new feature?

Thanks for your reply. Currently i got the "CPTS event lookup errors" as the doc. said:

[MCU2_0] 10.619292 s: CpswCpts_ioctl: Failed to lookup for event: -14
[MCU2_0] 10.619352 s: EnetMod_ioctl: cpsw9g.cpts: Failed to do IOCTL cmd 0x0101030c: -14
[MCU2_0] 10.619396 s: EnetPer_ioctl: cpsw9g: Failed to do IOCTL cmd 0x0101030c: -14

Could you help me to find the place in SDK to change the "MAC port number" to get PTP?

Hi Hutian,

Are you connecting both mac port 2 and mac port 3? The errors/warnings you are getting are because of link not available on the port on which PTP server is listening to.

Also are you able to start PTP daemon on Linux PC side and start sync sequence with the TDA as described in the user guide?

Thanks for your info. After rebuild my environment , i can get the sync time and i will close the ticket.
