AM3359: EtherCAT on linux

Part Number: AM3359

Good day to all:

I will try to port PRU-ICSS EtherCAT Slave for Linux and looking the following post from long time ago :

https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/t/436127

Frank Walzer said is possible but also said the following:

Quote:

"We do provide all driver source code to enable customers to port to another OS than Sys/Bios. However as we test only using Sys/Bios we can't guarantee all functionality or performance in the same way on a ported version."

1.- Where to get the mentioned driver source code to port to another OS?

2.- 5+ years had happened since that post and my question is if someone of you application engineers/community members had developed this port and want to share?

3.- Is there some public documentation for PRU-ICSS EtherCAT Slave API?

4.- It is possible to do LKMs in TI RT-Linux, and where to find documentation in how to interface them from the userspace?

Thank you,

Jose.
