USB bring up in DM365

i am using davinci DM365 processor on my custom board and TI's montovista kernel on it,can anybody guide me how to bring up USB2.0 on this..

i am new to USB, the task assigned to me is to bring up USB2.0,my board is same as DM365EVM,pls guide step by step from begining...

pls guide me, what are the things to be done i will go as per your guidelines............

for more info i am using inux-2.6.18_pro500 kernel and USB2.0 on my board,
