Hi，All

I am very interested in Appro DM36x software archtechiture. But All Video input is from Sensor which outputs RAW Mode video, I am thinking wether it can support YUV input such as through TVP5150 or TVP5146 output video?

Would someone give me some advices to start port?

What do you mean by Appro DM36x software architecture? Any specific software you are talking about?

Apart from that, dm36x platform does support yuv(such as tvp514x) capture. Please refer to dm36x vpfe user guide for details.

Hi,

The next release of DM36x IPNC would have support for the YUV capture mode also. There has been patches for the YUV sensor support but i would recommend you to wait for a week and then download DM36x IPNC ver 2.6 which will have TVP514x supported which can be run on TI DM36x EVM.

Hi,

Yes, IPNC version 2.6 will be released this week, and you can find YUV input mode in this release, you can go over this release and get back with speific questions later.

In fact, I am in an emergency，so would you pls provide some patches if it is convienent for you?

BTW:

The Appro DM36x IPNC v2.6 which support YUV is included in DM36x IPNC MT5 package or some special package?

And this part of code (YUV Support) is open or reserved by IPNC such as Appro 2A.?

This implementation of YUV sensor mode will be in source format and not in library format.

This release package will same as version 2.5 with extra documentation.

Because we need it in an emency(We are evaluating and choosing IPNC Solution Based on TI DM36x and Hi35xx Platform), would someone give me an exact time v2,6 is ready, or would someone give me a message when it is ready for download?

Hi,

You should get a release notification email from Appro as soon as it is updated on their server. I hope you have your email id registered with them for the product. In any case, you can provide us the registered email id so that we can ensure that you get a release notification email through Appro or through us @ TI.

We are committed to provide you the release as soon as it becomes available on the website, which should happen sometime by end of this week.

Version 2.6 is up at Appro ftp site, please check with Appto for download instructions
