C6713: life cycle

hi team,

    my customer want to \confirm the lifecycle of TMS320C6713B-225.   Does we have plan when this model will be EOL? would you please help share your comment? thanks a lot

    Bing,

        TI has no plans to EoL the C6713B device.  TI will supply this processor for as long as customers want to buy them and will not obsolete it for our convenience.  We recognize that our catalog products are sold to a variety of customers and that the life expectancy of those products is not subject to the demands of a few large customers, but are instead determined by the broader market. 

    In the event that we are forced to end-of-life a product, we will offer an 18 month window to allow you to plan for such discontinuance.  This includes 12 months after an end-of-life announcement to place orders for the product and an additional 6 months to take deliveries. 

     

    Our goal is to ensure our customer’s continuity of supply.  In the rare instance where we are forced to end-of-life a product, we will work closely with you to make your transition as smooth as possible.
