DRA821A: TSN support

Hi,

I have a question from my customer for DRA821x Ethernet port.

According to datasheet (SPRSP57A), it seems to support up to 4 TSN ports.
Does this mean customer can use these 4 TSN port in parallel, correct?
Is there any limitations?

    Hi,

    Yes, 4 ports are available externally on the CPSW 5G and 1 Port on MCU CPSW

    Are you looking for HW or SW limitations ? From SW perspective, many TSN features are not available yet.

    HW limitations for CPSW 5G are mentioned in the TRM (not supported)

    • GMII Mode
    • Gigabit half-duplex in 1Gbit or 10Gbit modes.
    • Software reset on CPRGMII, CPRMII, PCSR submodules
    • Interspersed Express Traffic (IET) in RMII mode
    • Jumbo sized packets (9600 bytes)
    • Rate limiting in half-duplex mode
    • Dual VLAN switch operations
    • MACSec
    • Synchronous Ethernet
    • Cut Through Switching
