OMAPL138 SPi Starterware Driver Not Working

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

Hello

I have Starter ware PDk for OMAPL138 development board(LCDK) and I am working SPI driver when i imported SPI driver form build directory under ARm5 it seems not working properly

On the serial console I got the following message

==================================================================================

Welcome to StarterWare SPI application.

Here the SPI controller on the SoC communicates with the Fingerprint Sensor present on the LCDK.

Attempting to Reset the Fingerprint Sensor.

ERROR: Fingerprint Sensor Reset Attempt Unsuccessful.

=================================================================================

I have also tried to get clock pulse on CRO but no change.

I need SPI protocol to interface OLed.

What should I need to do for SPI to work?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Shubham

  • Shivam,

    Starterware code is legacy code that TI is no longer maintaining or supporting. We have no access to starterware developers. Please also note that starterware for LCDK was created when the LCDK board had a Authentic fingerprint sensor which on the newer boards has been depopulated since the vendor got acquired so any examples using fingerprint sensor will not work.

    Hope this helps understand background regarding this HW and SW.
