TDA2HG: Set IVA DDR bandwidth regulator but not valid

Hi,

I'm visionSDK version: 3.08;

Now I need smooth IVA peak bandwidth, so I called "Utils_setBWRegulator(UTILS_DMM_INITIATOR_ID_IVA, 100)" in function "AppCtrl_setSystemL3DmmPri";

But it's bandwidth still jump to 600MB/s and 0MB/s.

Did I miss something? Thanks!

Hi Gaviraju,

I found IVA DDR bandwidth usage swap between 600 MB/s and 0.When it jump to peak value it sometimes conflicts with GPU use of DDR.

So now I want slow down IVA bandwidth to leave it to GPU.

And as for as I know, default setting not satisfy this need.

Linux is running on A15? Can you make sure the function "Utils_setBWRegulator" is getting called or not?
