OMAP-L138: TI programming tool for OMAP-L138

Hi,

We have a custom board with "TI OMAP-L138" and Linux. We are using the latest processor sdk and we have setup the yocto environment (arago project) for the build. We have generated the zImage, uboot.bin and rootfs. How to program these software to the custom board. Does TI provides any programming tool which will copy the binaries to boot media.

Sharmila,

Traditionally, we have provided the Serial flashing and boot tool for OMAPL13x devices. The idea would be to use the tool to program uboot to flash and then you can use the uboot command line to program kernel image and flash files system and setup the uboot arguments for booting linux

The serial flash and boot tools are provided from the link here:

The tool will assume the uboot is in AIS format used by the ROM on the device to load boot images into device onchip memory.

Hi Rahul,

Yes I am following the same procedure for flashing. But Do you have any tool which can flash all the binaries(u-boot, zImage and rootfs) at one step.
