I am looking for an image sensor to be used directly with TMS320C6A816x

Hi,

I would like to know if someone can recommend a specific image sensor to be used with TMS320C6A816x. 

The best would be an image sensor used in an existing and working system - to eliminate any possible hardware / software issues.

Note: The current system uses a monochrome CMOS SXGA (1280x1024) digital image sensor

    Unfortunately I do not have a specific sensor to recommend.  Some things to keep in mind though:

    The C6A816x HW supports 8/16-bit YUV422  and 24-bit RGB discrete sync capture but current HDVPSS drivers support only 24-bit RGB discrete sync capture. The next release of the HDVPSS drivers (expected in late 2Q11) will support 8/16-bit discrete capture as well.   Also note that the C6A816x has a problem related to discrete sync capture. Refer to to Silicon Errata for details.
