TDA4VM: test ADC

Hi,

I try to test ADC in TDA4VM EVM and the SDK is 7.0.I find ADC drivers in mcusw file,but I want to test ADC in vision_apps.So I need to change a little in makefile and add .h files.It seems complicated to do it.Is there a guide about that?

Hi HJ,

There is no guide for this, but I'm assuming that what you want to do is have an ADC application get loaded alongside Linux on A72?

Hi Karan,

I try to use MCAL ADC API in vision_apps.Is it possible to do that?I have found that gateway demos use MCAL drivers,but I don't know how to do the same things in vision_apps.

Hi HJ,

You need to include the build dependencies from the MCUSW into vision_apps firmware. You can take a look at the ADC example in MCUSW for this and add that to the corresponding firmware's concerto.mak file.

Path to ADC example in MCUSW: mcusw/mcal_drv/mcal/examples/Adc/makefile

Path to concerto.mak: vision_apps/apps/basic_demos/app_tirtos/tirtos_linux/mcu2_1/concerto.mak
