AM 17x with CC2530 zigbee device

Hi,

I am planning to use AM1705 as a gateway for home automation product.

I plan to use CC2530 (Zigbee device ) in AM1705 using UART interface, to communicate with other home automation devices. Plus, AM1705 gateway with include Ethernet and GSM interface, so that the home automation devices can be controlled and monitored using SMS or from internet.

I'm very familiar with zigbee and I've developed all the home automation products with TI CC2530/CC1100 SoC.

Please comment whether I can acheive the above functionality using AM1705. Also, let me know if need to be aware of anything else.
