Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP3530, AM3715Is there any camera module, which is compatible for both OMAP 3530 and AM3730 ? As of now, I am not seeing any camera module list on AM3730 web page ( http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tmdsevm3730.html ).

    Thanks Sri. I already gone thru e-CON and Leopard. But I didn't get any conformation in the computability angle. If you are already tried this module on both boards, please share that info.

                We have already worked with Leopard Camera Module on both OMAP 3530 and AM37xx Mistral EVM's. What kind of informatiion do you expect me to share?

    Thank Sri. It is very valuable info. Basically I am looking for (1) Same HW module can be reused directly or Is there any hardware tweaking is needed? (2) From the (Linux) driver level, Is there any changes?

    Hi Midson,

                  We are using Mistral EVM Rev G board which supports both OMAP3530 Processor module and AM37xx processor module.  Below mentioned are the answers for the queries posed:

    • There is no change in hardware.
    • We have been using Linux kernel 2.6.29 which is working well for both processor modules (i.e. no driver level changes).

    Thanks Sri. What about the LI-5M01 module? Is it also compatible for both boards? Just in case, you don't have direct experience on this module, may be from the ISP interface point of view you can provide some inputs.

    Can you tell me  if the  AM3715  can connect  2 camera  ;one is use to  video dialogue ---use the  usb mobile phone camera  then can do it ; Another  camera sensor it must be upto 500 million pixels can take the around  5 meters  objects's  photo.

    and how can i connect to AM3715.  how much most  the AM3715 have the  video  interface?
