Hello,

Do you have the information what failure mode will happen in case of using internal delay mode for RGMII?
In our customer's old design (PG1.0), the mode is used, so we need to information of the impact of the setting.

    Hello Nomo,

    Because this unsupported functionality is not tested nor characterized by TI, any failure mechanism (impact) is indeterminate. My personal expectation is that the interface would/could experience timing failures resulting in dropped/malformed packets, but again, this is just an assumption and shouldn't be relied upon for critical applications.
