I have the reference design kit from Appro (IPNC). I need to configure the video coming from the sensor (Aptina MT9P031) and the VPBE side so that the so-called "LCD" port receives a 720P60 BT861 stream. I am starting from 720P30 config from IPNC to configure the CCD (no LCD output), and could set the sensor @ 60 fps. I could configure the VBPE side as master and get the correct timings for CEA861. Unfortunately, probalby because the clocking is not synchronous with the sensor, the image quality is poor. Setting the VPBE as slave / clocking coming from the CCD may help but it breaks the CEA861 timings on the VBPE side. Do I need to configure (how ?) the VPFE ?
What is the correct approach ? VPBE in master or slave ?
Does anyone know how to configure the system to output 720P60 on the back end device ?
