Hi,

My customer wants to test QSPI-Boot with Linux SDK.
The hardware is EVMK2G. Software is Processor SDK Linux 06_03_00_106.

Q1) Where can I find step by step guide for booting from QSPI on the board?

Q2) Is it possible to write QSPI-Flash image(U-boot image) by CCS?
If so, how?

Please refer to our Secondary bootloader(SBL) documentation for the correct location of the QSPI flash writer binary and the steps to flash and boot from QSPI flash

Please use the QSPI flash writer located in pdk_k2g_1_0_15\packages\ti\boot\sbl\tools\flashWriter\qspi

The writer package outside of the SBL is a legacy flashwriter package meant for previous K2 users to use which should not be used if you are using the SBL package for booting the application on this device. the flash writer in SBL package reads the boot and app file from SD card and programs it at the correct offsets as specified in the config file.

Additional Tips: Ensure that while flashing, your boot switches (SW3) is set to No boot/Debug boot mode and format the SD card to FATFS as recommended so the flash writer can read the images from the SD card.
