TDA2PXEVM: Power up the cameras through SoC

Hi There,

We are working on TDA2PX with 4 LVDS cameras. The LVDS cameras are connected through a load switch
Please find below pins used from SoC.

Kindly let us know how do we enable these pins from software to power up the cameras.

Hi Pallavi,

We would require more information on this. You have connected few pins to power inputs. But what is the requirement on these pins to power up the camera? Can you please provide more info?

High on all pins.

Camera requirement is as follows

Power over coaxial (POC) : DC 6~12V

Do you need help using those pins listed as GPIO, and setting the GPIO to a high level that will enable other on-board logic (like camera power)?

Hi P B1,

Please refer to TRM to understand how to configure GPIO.

Also You could set the pinmux values for these pins to make it GPIO output pins.

There are several examples available in the PDK and vision sdk, which demonstrates how to configure GPIO. One such example is in folder ti_components\drivers\pdk_01_10_02_07\packages\ti\csl\example\gpio. Please refer to these example to configure GPIO.
