TMS320C6657: How to import Library compiled by CCS into MS Visual Studio.

Part Number: TMS320C6657

Hi,

I'm trying to use Visual Studio to debug and test some of our algorithms that run on a C6657.

I made a custom library file (.lib)

My PC environment

Windows 10 Enterprise (Build 18363)

CCS Ver.: 6.0.1.00040

CCS Library configuration

- output type : static library

- output format : eabi (ELF)

I've tried linking in custom library to VS project. I got a corrupt file error about library.

*Fatal Error LNK1120 : Two unresolved external references.

Can I custom library compiled by CCS be used in MS Visual studio?

  • Dear Customer,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

Giving technical support on Microsoft visual studio is out of scope for TI e2e forum support.

We would recommend you to use the CCS IDE for TI processors as most of the SW are compiled, built and tested.

    Regards

    Shankari
