Can we use four different camera(different resolution and data format) on one CSI port?
We want to connect one 720P raw sensor camera, one 1080P raw sensor camera, two YUV camera to one CSI port(through DS90UB960),is this HW solution ok?
Thanks
Hi wang qiang,
From CSI port point of view, it can be supported. but not sure if ub960 can support. Please check with your local TI representative.

Hi,Brijesh
if TI960 can support this, does the software of TDA4VM platform can support it(such as sensor driver,CSIRX driver, isp driver..)?
Thanks
Hi wang qiang,
CSIRX driver can support it, but isp does not support different data format.

Hi,Brijesh
if we use 4 YUV camera or 4 raw sensor camera but with different resolution
Does the software of TDA4VM can support ?
Because from the code of TDA4 EVM board, when multi cam usecase,it seems that the SW only support cams with same data format and resolution
Thanks
Hi Wang qiang,
This is not currently support, heterogenous camera support, especially in isp, will be added in future release.

Brijesh
Hi Wang,
Yes, 4 YUV cameras can be supported on one CSI port.
The issue is with 4 Heterogenous raw camera, we currently don't have support for it in ISP, although capture can capture them.
