I see the DM814x supports IEEE1588.
Does TI have any more info on this?.
Is this v1 or V2?. If V2 then does this also mean 802.1AS is supported?
Will there be drivers?. SYS/BIOS , Linux?.
thanks

Steve,
Sorry for the delayed response but I have been trying to check the details for you.
Basically, the hardware supports IEE1588-2008 but we do not currently have any software available to support 1588.
Software support is currently being developed for 1588 & 802.1AS, but I do not have a schedule when this might be released.

Thanks for your reply.
1. Do you know if the software being developed is for Linux or for SYS/BIOS (or both?)
2. What other IEEE AVB standards will be supported. How about 802.1Qat and Qav?.
regards
Steve,
To be honest I don't know at the moment.
I will try to get someone closer to the issue to help.

Steve,
Just to keep you updated...
There is currently no specific release date for software support unfortunately.
All I can really suggest is to keep checking back either here on the forums or with your local sales/FAE.

Steve
