CAN AM3715 design a POS with 2 camera input to use to a video dialogue

I want to design a  PDA  have  2  camera  ,1  in  front (to video diague) ,1  in behind---(to take a photograph)  ,can  I  achieve  this design. The   video  dialogue  is used in the  facture  inside employees ,can the  1GHz AM3715  can  process  this  task .The  video diague and  Wireless Communications are basic on the WIFI .

Who can tell me how to connect the  2  camera  sensors  into  the  AM3715?

Who can tell me  the  1 bit  ECC  flash  Reference Design‘s type and part number   to  design AM3715 PCB  .

If use the AM3715 to do Video processing , what  Highest  Capacity  AM3715 can  do?

    Hi Jack,

    There are three ways to go.

    1. If you dont need both the cameras at the same time,  The AM3715 has only one parallel camera interface and hence you can use only one camera at a time. This you can easily design through a switch.

    2. If you need both cameras working at the same time, you can use a USB camera for photograph and the parallel camera interface for video capture. if you dont want to use the USB camera, then you can use two cameras interfaced via a FPGA interface for interleaving. 

    3. If you need the two camera modules to be in sync,  Some camera modules permit synching. i mean you have two camera modules of the same type in sync with each other. These camera modules operate between themselves in the master slave mode. The frames are interleaved by the master before it is presented to the processor.

    I want disign a hospital POS.1 task is run the hospital's data system besic on  WINCE6.0.    2  task is to run the video dialogue ,let the nurses to video dialogue each other; the  camera sensor is 3000000 pixels ,if I can design a  video  dialogue  through the  WIFI  besic on AM3715?    The  TFT LCD is about  800*600。 If the  AM3715 SDK have the  develope example and  video  lib.  And  what  run algorithm would I need  ,that can finish the video dialogue design besic on WINCE.

    The AM3715 doesnt have the IVA 2.2 or the DSP.  Since you are talking about video conferencing you have to compress the video streams to get VGA@30fps. I think this would be the resolution you would be targetting. Am I correct? For Video conferencing, you may have to go for DM3730.
