Hi

I found there're two chips available as of AM5718 and AM5718-HIREL from the Sitara Processors. But I could not distinguish among them 

Could you please clarify what's the major differences btw AM5718 and AM5718-HIREL deivces?

My customer would like to use AM5718 device. and would like to clarify diff of two devices which are found from ti.com website.

    Hi

    I found AM5718-HIREL supports for silicon revision 2.0 only from the older thread.

    The HIREL version has H/W pin and S/W compatibility. 

    If above is correct and sufficient description about product diff, Let me close this ticket.

    Jack,

    They are the same device.  The HIREL device is more expensive and has higher reliability specs.

    In general you should use the standard AM5718.
