Which version of the encoder you are using?

Can you please try with the following config settings,

MaxSlicesSupported_IFrame = 40 # Maximum number of slices supported
MaxSlicesSupported_PFrame = 40 # Maximum number of slices supported
sliceMode = 2
sliceUnitSize = 1500

I didn't find the parameters what you said in my codec(version:1.00, sdk:2.00.00.22).

Liang,

Can you please provide the following informations,

- The complete version of the release package you are using ( can be found in release notes or can be checked using, C:\vers <library name> )

- For generating multiple slices which of the following criteria you required,

a) Multiple slices needs to be generated based on number of MB rows in a frame or

b) Multiple slices needs to be generated based on number bytes per slice (h241 spec)

Hi,Mahantesh

The version of h264 encoder i using is 1.00.013. Now i download the version of h264 codec packet is 1.20.02.00(for 720P), and i can find that it can support "multiple slices base on number of MB rows in a frame" but not "multiple slices base on number bytes per slice(h241)". Is h264 encoder only supported "multiple slices base on number of MB rows in a frame" using for 720P on dm6467? And can you tell where to download the last version of h264 720P encoder for dm6467?

First of all you haven't answered for the query asked regarding the criteria, which you required in the last update.

There are two different libraries with different release versions, which supports folllowing two feature,

1. creating multiple slices based on number of MB rows (rel ver 01.20.02.00)

2. creating multiple slices based on number of bytes per slice (H241 spec) (rel ver 01.21.00.02).

If you required the second one, then we will let you know the path from where you can download the same.
