Hi,
I've been working on upgrading our device to use ti-u-boot-2020.01 and I have run into a very strange issue. My ti-linux-4.19.94 kernel that I previously used with ti-u-boot-2017.01 is not able to boot under ti-u-boot-2020.01.
After enabling kernel debugging and early printk and doing some testing I have narrowed it down a bit. It seems to only happen due to the 2020.01 MLO. When I use the 2017.01 MLO with the 2020.01 Uboot.img (obviously not an ideal approach to piecemeal them) it boots fine. When using 2020.01 MLO and Uboot.img, it fails in the probe for the kernel TI EDMA driver and then has an Oops error right after enabling the console device.
Is there something I need to change, maybe in my device tree or defconfig, to get the kernel to boot when using the 2020.01 MLO?
