  • Power,

Are you working with one our the Sitara SDKs for an AMx device?  If so, we use Qt 4.6.2. We have not yet moved to Qt 4.7 but plan to.  If using an SDK then the CCSv5 User's Guide has a section that describes how import Qt projects.  They are different than standard C projects and you will need CCSv5 version provided with the SDK that contains the Qt Integration plugin.

    http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/How_to_Import_Matrix_GUI_into_CCSv5

If you want to use Qt 4.7 then once you install it you will need to point the Qt Preferences within CCSv5 (with the Qt inegration plugin) to the proper Bin Path and Include Path so that CCSv5 can build 4.7.  Again details in the article above.

  • Kevin,

thanks for replying,  I read the documents already, but my ccsv5 does not have the QT import selection, don't know why, so I come up with this topic.

the software start guide does not tell me how to install QT, nor telling which one should be installed first, QT or CCSV5, so if you have, please let me know, thanks a lot.

    regards,

    Pan

  • Same problem here, I downloaded CCS_5.0.2.00006 and I do not get qt options when I try to import as directed in the wiki. If anyone knows what I am missing, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Rajah
