TDA4VM: We use PCIe to connect two TDA4VM to transmit data, and we also use the QNX system .Does TDA4VM support this PCIE solution?

Part Number: TDA4VM

Is the PCIE driver running on QNX or R5F CORE?

Is there a plan already provided?

  • Hi Xiao,

The TI Processor SDK QNX for PCIE does not come with an A72 based PCIE driver.

Please contact your local QNX representative for the A72 PCIe driver availability.

  • Does r5f  core support this mode?

I found that the r5f code has a driver for the PCIe (vx_ pcie_ tx_ target.c and vx_ pcie_ rx_ target. c).

May I use it? Is there a description document?

  • Hi Xiao,

The PCIE driver (no sample application), in the PDK of Processor SDK 7.2 RTOS release was not tested by TI, nor is there any associated documentation.

    • ./packages/ti/drv/pcie
    • ./packages/ti/csl/src/ip/pcie

The openVx files vx_pcie_tx_target.c and vx_pcie_rx_target.c, are part of a demo which involves the Linux based pcie driver.

Please contact your local QNX representative for A72 QNX PCIe driver availability.

    Regards,
