CCSTUDIO: Errors while building pre-built binaries ( for AWR1843 lab )

Part Number: CCSTUDIO
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1843

Hi,

I have been trying to run pre-built binaries for an AWR1843 lab7 and I keep getting these errors, any help ?

IcePick_M_0: Error: (Error -261 @ 0xFFFFFEFB) Invalid response was received from the XDS110. (Emulation package 9.3.0.00032)

C674X_0: Power Failure on Target CPU

C674X_0: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting. There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory. It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging

  • Could you provide more details here?

What all the steps you followed to get this error message?

And I would recommend you to follow the userguide/getting-started document under the same lab folder.

    Regards,

    Jitendra

  • I already followed all the steps mentioned in the user guide document provided under the same lab.

I loaded pre-built binaries from lab7 in medium range radar using the AWR1843 board then after running those binaries I got those errors.

well, I fixed the first error by changing the USB cable as for the two others they still remain.

  • Other two error says that DSP core might not be powered up yet.

Do you make sure that flash application is executed fro sFlash? Could you check that with Visualizer if you are getting object data and plot on that?

Ideally, MSS core powers up first which then un-halt the DSP core, only then it is eligible to connect via CCS. So check the above or try the same experiment with mmw demo (from mmWave SDK) for CCS connection.
