AM4376: advertised link speed setting issue

Hi,

Few months ago I ever asked a questions about how to set advertised link speed from auto-negotiation to 100M Half/Full only

but recently I just got some information from other colleague, it seems after we changed the setting to FULLDUPLEX (Including 100M and 1000M)

our product will just repeats linkup and linkdown, and it only works by HALFDUPLEX (can be communicate normally)

Do you know what could be the cause of this issue?

Which OS do you use? TI Processor SDK Linux or RTOS?

We're using Linux OS (version 4.9.69) and the board was designed based on TI AM4376 + RSZ9031RNX

Hi,

The link being reported as up and down is the CPSW reacting to what the PHY is experiencing. When this problem has been reported in the past the issue tends to be with the analog side of the PHY. I can only recommend contacting the PHY manufacturer for ideas on debugging link establishment issues.
