Is R5F in DRA821A available for customer Sw use?

Hi HaTa,

You can use the R5F for customer SW, can you please specify which cluster (or core) are you talking about? There are two R5F clusters - one in the MCU and the other in the MAIN domain.

Hi Karan

You could be talking about R5F in DRA821U.

However, what I'd like to know is about DRA821A.

Some presentation foils say that R5F on DRA821A is only for booting, and cannot be used for customer SW.

I'd like to confirm it on DM or TRM, but now DRA821A site is closed and cannot do it. Then, I put the question on here.

(I can access to DRA821A site few weeks before.)

Hi HaTa,

Yes I see that the product page for DRA821A is not accessible on ti.com.

The data sheet here - https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/dra821u mentions both DRA821A and DRA821U at the top right corner.

But let me confirm again and let you after the weekend.

The DRA821A is not available as a product offering at the moment.

Please encourage customers to use DRA821U or other alternative parts.
