Hi All,

 

I would like to ask a question on DM6437 reset.

 

 

 

 

According to SPRS345d, PORn pin needs to be asserted low while waiting for power supplies to reach normal operation condition, which should be the reason for using reset supervisor TPS3808 or alike, since when power is plugged it needs some time to get stable and during this time PORn must be asserted low, is this true?

 

Whereas for warm reset (the terminology in SPRS345d), it seems not related to power up since it is usually done in the middle of operation. So do I still need to reset supervisor for this purpose?
