I would like to get some details about this IC "D830K013BZKB4".
It's an audio DTS Processor IC from ti which is used in an audio system.
This audio system found faulty and contacted the service centre and then they said this particular IC went faulty.
I have contacted ti and they said it's an obsolete item and they cannot support directly. I searched on internet and it's available from some vendors. But the authenticity is doubtful.
Moreover that, in one of the forum, somebody was mentioning like, it is licensed to Dolby Labs and since it requires some customization by programming, further to the purchase of a fresh chip.
Is it true?
The same question I asked to ti people through email and unfortunately they are totally ignorant about this, and they only suggested to raise this in this forum. In fact, it was really a shocking message from ti, since they are the manufacturers of the same.
So, anybody has any knowledge about this, please send me the details and any known place to purchase this item.
