Greetings,

I bought new AMIC110-EVK few days back. I just power on the board using 5V adapter. Input section power led is not glowing it's blinking. I checked adapter and its working fine with other board supply. I only found issue on this EVK? I checked voltage level on EVK and proper voltage is not showing. 0.2V appearing on input capacitor side. Is there any problem on power section of AMIC110 EVK? Kindly suggest whether to use and proceed with this board. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Can you check the current rating of your power adapter? It sounds like either the power supply cannot meet the startup current needs of the board, or there may be damage or a short on the board, and the PMIC is immediately going into protection mode.

Current rating of Power adaptor 2A and proper 5V is coming from it. As you mentioned damage to board might happened.

Hi Karthik,

If you happen to have another supply to verify the issue is indeed the EVM, that would be good. Otherwise, an RMA may be in order. Did you purchase the EVM from the TI store or a distributor? If a distributor, you can return through them if within their return period.

Yes We have got from distributor. As you suggested will go with return option. Thanks for the advice.
