About DSP of OMAP3530

ARM side and MPEG are communicated by using DSP Bridge.

When following DLL is loaded after loading starts from the ARM side (dspexec), and the encode processing of MEPG4 was executed, the following errors generate the base image that our company makes.

Please teach what how is necessary to be thought as a cause.

Base image
DOF file DLL module usn.dll64P mp4vdec_sn.dll64P m4venc_sn.dll64P that our company makes

When you go from the ARM side in the above-mentioned in the processing of encode by way of Bridge

 ****************LCML ERROR : DSP ************************
Error: Create the Node : Err Num = ffffffac
 ****************LCML ERROR : DSP ************************

It drinks and the error occurs.
The error is a return value of the DSPNode_Create() processing. However, the cause where it is generated is uncertain. Please teach.

The dskt2 package, the ACPY3 package, the dman3 package, and the fcpy_ti64 package are built into the base image.

Moreover, EXTHEAPSIZE is increased to 0x180000.

Information such as CCS and bios is the following.

CCS : V4.2.1.00004
bios : 5.41.10.36
C6000 Code Generation Tools : 7.2.1

  • Hiro,

I'll be direct...  DSP Bridge is software that was developed and supported by TI's Wireless organization.  In other words, it's used only at very high volume handset manufacturers.  Now even our Wireless group has abandoned DSP Bridge in favor of OpenMax, under which exists our Codec Engine Framework.  Nobody will be able to answer questions related to DSP Bridge so I strongly advise you to switch to a Codec Engine framework as we supply with our DVSDK:

    http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/linuxdvsdk-omap3530.html

If you switch to use the DVSDK then we have lots of people familiar with that software.  Furthermore, it is still actively developed and supported.

    Best regards,
    Brad

    Thank you for advice.

We are downloading Binary from following URL.

    https://gforge.ti.com/gf/project/openmax/frs/

I want to get the project environment and the source etc. of the Binary.

I think that the possibility of the solution is here even a little if there are a source and project information.

Isn't there DLL module of the encode of H264?

    It is good.

    Hiro
