PRU-ICSS-HSR-PRP-DAN software is provided under different licences like mentioned in Manifest: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-industrial-sw/esd/PRU-ICSS-HSR-PRP-DAN/latest/exports/PRU-ICSS-HSR-PRP-DAN_01.00.xx_manifest.html

ICSS firmware for HSR and PRP si provided in binary form under TSPA licence: "* Nothing shall obligate TI to provide you with source code for the software licensed and provided to you in object code."

I want to ask for information if is any other way (e.g. commercial) do obtain source code for PRU. For example to check if possible is to implement IEE1588 power profile with PRP/HSR.

    Hi,

    PTP 1588 is already supported in HSR-PRP, we don't claim power profile support because of stack requirements but other customers have implemented power profile using this firmware.

    Is there some specific feature which you don't see with HSR-PRP ?

    Hello,

    I've no problem with HSR/PRP them selves and PTP is also working  if I set Grandmaster clock to default IEEE 1588.

    Nice to know that is possible to implement HSR/PRP with PTP1588/Power profile on SItara.

    I've red in documentation that power profile is not supported. It was a reason to ask for firmware source .

    I've thought that additional support is necessary in PRU firmware to power profile.
