Question on DM6437 DDR2 routing

Hi All,

 

I would like to ask a question on DDR2 interface for DM6437.

 

 

   

SPRAAL6, Implementing DDR2 PCB Layout on the TMS320DM643x DMSoC, specifies in Table 1 – Minimum PCB stackup that there needs to be at least two ground layers in the PCB, but in EVM6437 I found only one.

 

Why is this and is this a problem in EVM6437?
