I am actually a novice to DSP hardware and so maybe asked a high-level question. We want to purchase hardware for our DSP undergraduate course in which we introduce to the students the concepts of discrete-time convolution, Spectrograms, FFT, FIR and IIR Filters. This course ends with a mini semester project. Now consider that we may extend our course to teaching real-time DSPs as well (of course from beginner's level). Which DSP processor or educational kit does universities mostly buy from TI for their such undergraduate courses on DSP?
