AM6442: Linux Hibernation and DeepSleep

Part Number: AM6442

Hi,

My customer is evaluating AM6442 with below environment.
HW: TMDS64GPEVM
SW: PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM64X (version 07.03.00.02)

They are trying to put the device into Hibernate (Suspend to Disk) and DeepSleep (Suspend to RAM), but so far no success.
Please see below two logs.

Q1) When they tried "Suspend to Disk", the log showed hibernation is successfully done.
But the system does not resume, but seems reboot normal sequence. Why?
Please see line#554 and after. Suspend sequence is below:

root@am64xx-evm:/sys/power# mkswap /dev/mmcblk1p3
root@am64xx-evm:/sys/power# swapon /dev/mmcblk1p3
root@am64xx-evm:/sys/power# free
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 1913024 147584 1636608 19648 128832 1555904
Swap: 2097088 0 2097088
root@am64xx-evm:/sys/power# echo reboot > /sys/power/disk
root@am64xx-evm:/sys/power# echo disk > /sys/power/state

Q2) When they tried "Suspend to RAM", the log showed suspend is done.
But it is not clear how to recover from this state. Pushing SW7 simply reset the system.
How to resume from "Suspend to RAM"?
Suspend sequence is below. Please see Line#560 and after in the log.

root@am64xx-evm:/sys/power# cat mem_sleep
[s2idle]
root@am64xx-evm:/sys/power# echo mem > /sys/power/state

Q3) Regarding "Suspend to RAM" configuration, it seems only "s2idle" is selectable for cat /sys/power/mem_sleep.
According to customer, there is "deep" option available for other SoC (non TI).
Is "deep" option available for AM6446 EVM?

Thanks and regards,
