TDA4VM: qmake not accessible

Hello, exports.

I'm working on the TDA4VM J7-EVM, wtih PSDKLA 7.X.

I'm trying to build my Qt projects, but there are no qmake binary in the PSDKLA sysroots.

However, i found the Qt5 examples in the sysroots/usr/share/qt5/

Can i access to the qmake to building Qt application?

Hello,

You can follow following steps to get qmake.

Download the toolchain from:

and

Extract these to a single parent folder that you will use as TOOLCHAIN_BASE in the following steps.

Use the following as a reference (you need a different build target though):

After following initial step, for SDK build, use meta-toolchain-arago-tisdk target instead of tisdk-default-image. Your build command should be:

TOOLCHAIN_BASE=/work/tools/gcc/ MACHINE=j7-evm bitbake meta-toolchain-arago-tisdk

After successful build, follow these steps (assuming you are in build folder):

cd arago-tmp-external-arm-glibc/deploy/sdk/

chmod a+x arago-2020.09-aarch64-linux-tisdk.sh

./arago-2020.09-aarch64-linux-tisdk.sh

This should install the sysroot in the directory that you entered when prompted. This sysroot should contain qmake.
